SAMPLE 3D MODEL
A virtual 3D model offers many advantages in litigation and regulatory hearings. The data set captured by the drone's sensors preserves evidence. It collects precise measurements, dimensions and features. The resulting 3D model can be used for analysis by experts including years after an incident and prior to trial or hearing.
Because measurements of objects and distances within the model are preserved, if the subject-matter of the dispute no longer physically exists--where damages to land have been restored or a damaged structure removed--the parties have the advantage of using the 3D model later in the process to resolve disputes or prove facts. The 3D model also becomes part of the Record of the proceeding making it available at appeal or judicial review.
